WHY LEADERSHIP SCHOLARS?

We work with the people that impact the student...
Mentors: Provide them mentoring strategies and training on weekly lessons. Training occurs at a summer retreat as well as throughout the school year.
Parents: Empower parents with information around strategies to support their students' academic, social, and emotional development. This includes strategies to support their students at home, advice on how to interact with the school, and information on the college admissions and financial aid processes.
Teachers: Empower teachers with information around the mindset research and college knowledge.
We provide information on the following topics...
1. Mindset: Help students understand neuroplasticity, mindfulness, gratitude, internal locus of control, and how they can change the way they see themselves and opportunity in the world. Empower students with life skills on how to successfully participate in their immediate communities and beyond.
2. College Knowledge: Provide information to students around the steps they should take beginning in middle school to get the necessary grades, ACT/SAT scores, and rigorous curriculum to gain admission into college.
