LEADERSHIP SCHOLARS FAMILY

Critical to the success of the Leadership Scholars Program, as well as all of the students and families in the program, is the establishment of a successful, tight-knit community, which we call the Leadership Scholars Family. The Leadership Scholars Family is a community of individuals who show genuine care and concern for each other and are dedicated to helping each other develop in leadership, as they themselves grow as leaders and human beings.

LEADERSHIP SCHOLARS FAMILY GATHERINGS:
We host several events throughout the year that help create this sense of community, beginning with the Leadership Scholars Family Cookout and concluding with the Leadership Scholars Family Celebration. The Leader Training Retreat, Summer Camp, semi-monthly team outings, and field trips also enhance this community. In addition, we host small, intimate lunches for all of the leaders twice each year; quarterly breakfasts for the leaders at their schools; social gatherings for the leaders; and social gatherings for the coordinators, principals, and coaches.

MEMBERS OF THE FAMILY:
The program will be successful if and only if all members of our family are all fully invested in the growth and development of the talented inner-city youth whom we serve. The different members include:
